Alan says…

I am glad that Accountability made the top five requests for personal development. A warning, though – often I have seen that when people want to talk about accountability, it’s about OTHER people being more accountable. I’m with you – work goes better when others follow through. But if you know me, you know I won’t let you off the hook – often, individuals need to do their own part to keep others on track.

Start Here: Tier One

Communication for Connection

Communication for Connection addresses the three common obstacles to effective communication: maturity in the moment, personality styles and trait differences, and the tendency to be vague and make attitude assumptions. You will learn to identify them and develop the skills needed to overcome them in yourself and others. This is a signature program – it’s the first of Alan’s programs that was delivered at Kemin, and many across the enterprise have experienced it.

Strategic Decision-Making and Task Management

Strategic decision-making and task management is taught through hands-on activities. You will explore proven techniques that are inclusive, easy to use, and can be accomplished in short periods of time. These techniques will be demonstrated by using current and relevant examples.

If you’ve done both of the above and want more, move to:

Tier Two

Leading at the Speed of Trust

(if you are in a leadership role)

Leading at the Speed of Trust® teaches that trust is a learnable skill and a function of two things: character and competence. Strengthen your integrity and competence to lead teams that are energized and engaged, collaborate more effectively, operate faster, and achieve sustainable results.

Speed of Trust Foundations

(if you are an individual contributor)

In the Speed of Trust® Foundations, individuals identify and address “trust gaps” in their personal credibility and relationships at work. Learn to model trust through character and competence, and develop, restore and extend trust in key relationships. Participants will:

  • Practice the 13 Behaviors of High Trust to develop, restore, and extend trust.
  • Create a Trust Action Plan to increase personal credibility and influence.
  • Practice communicating transparently, respectfully, and directly.
  • Identify how to extend appropriate levels of trust with co-workers.
  • Improve their track record of keeping commitments through a Peer Accountability Process.

Leading by Influence

(if you are an individual contributor)

Leading by Influence draws on Patrick Lencioni’s three virtues of an ideal team player: humble, smart, and hungry. You will learn how positive working relationships and consistent modeling of expectations are powerful. Some Business Units use these virtues in the hiring process, and Alan has provided that consultation for us as well.

Pricing for the above programs:

Individual pricing varies based on the program.

When signing up a team, each program has a “base” fee plus a “per person” fee, and these vary based on length and curriculum.
