In today’s fast-paced work environment, the ability to lead and communicate effectively through changes large and small is essential. This program equips leaders with tools to understand and respond to team members’ emotional journeys through change, based on the Kubler-Ross Change Curve. Participants will learn to overcome common communication obstacles, including staying “others-oriented,” adapting to personality style differences, and replacing vagueness with specificity. Through engaging activities and practical techniques, this workshop fosters resilience, builds trust, and enhances clarity of communication.

Participants will develop the following Workplace Competencies, being able to:

  1. Recognize when behaviors are “others-oriented” versus “self-oriented,” and understand how to use role, expertise, and relationship power effectively.
  2. Build clear, consistent communication practices that enhance trust and reduce confusion.
  3. Identify the unique needs of team members at each stage of change, using the Kubler-Ross Change Curve.
  4. Adapt and adjust to different personality styles in ways that reduce conflict and foster connection.
  5. Utilize techniques like the Behavior-Outcome Formula and BSaAFWYW (Be Specific and Ask For What You Want) to ensure clear, actionable feedback.
  6. Integrate empathy, transparency, and authenticity to lead with trust, especially during times of uncertainty and stress.
